I am off to Syracuse with my sister this morning. Then tomorrow my niece, who lives in Syracuse, my sister and I are off to Holy Cross to see my niece's daughters dance tomorrow night. Her oldest daughter will graduate from Holy Cross shortly so this will be the last time we will see her dance. She has applied for the Peace Corp but I haven't heard if she has been accepted. The other daughter will be an exchange student in Ireland starting in August. I will be back home again on Sunday. Bob is on vacation next week so that will be a challange.
Have a great weekend.

Let Freedom Ring
I finished stitching this yesterday and pinned it to the cube. This morning I finished the rest of the cube. The back of the cube is just plain red fabric. I didn't have enough of the blue star fabric to do the whole cube.

Changes to blogger
I don't like them. I am not normally someone who doesn't like change but this is not a change I like at all. I hope I get use to it.

Kitchen Sampler 2 by Lila's Studio
My sister picked this chart out a couple of months ago at the local LNS for me to stitch for her. I mentioned it a few weeks ago and she had completely forgotten about it so I am going to get it framed and give it to her for her birthday in November. I know she paid for the chart and for the fabric but the price for the framing is going to be a lot more then what she paid for chart and fabric. It looks much prettier in person than it does in this picture. I really like the way it turned out. I just noticed in the picture that I did not initial and date this project so I hope I remember to do so before I take it to the framer. I should also tell you that Lila lives on the same street as me but way down at the other end.
I started a Lizzie Kate's "Let Freedom Ring" the other afternoon and should be finished stitching that in a few days. I will make it into a no-sew cube for me. I am working on Bridge in Monet's Garden and finished row 3 of page 11 last night. There are 7 rows on each page.

KYKS April SAL
I just finished the April SAL at the KYKS group and thought I would share a picture. It is now hanging proudly on my ornament tree. Thank you Cathryn for this design and the monthly SAL which I am sooooo enjoying.
May you all have a blessed Holy Week and a love filled Easter.

I finished Lizzie Kate's Easter Flip it into a no-sew cube
I finished stitching Lizzie Kate's Easter flip it on Saturday and stitched the carrot charm onto the stitched piece on Sunday morning. I started making the no-sew cube early this afternoon and realized I didn't have a solid piece of fabric or any ribbon to finish it so off to Joann Fabric and AC Moore to get the supplies I needed. I just finished the cube. I sure hope my sister likes it.

Bridge in Monet's Garden - Page 10 is complete
As of 3/31/2012 I have been stitching on Bridge in Monet's Garden for 1 year. Yesterday I finished stitching page 10 after 2 marathon afternoons, Saturday and Sunday, of stitching. I am posting a couple of pictures of the project as of yesterday afternoon. I was hoping to complete a page a month but that isn't happening. Only 25 more pages to go. I am also posting a picture of my ornament tree decorated for Easter.
Hopefully I will have a few more pictures of some finished projects either later today or tomorrow. Last night I worked on Blueladie Designs April SAL and actually finished all the stitching and started putting the ornament together. I also finished stitching Lizzie Kate's Easter Flip-it and hope to make it into a no-sew cube this afternoon so I can give it to my sister either tomorrow on Wednesday on my way home from work.
