CCN's Santa's Village - Santa's Stocking Shop

Hot off the hoops.  I finished the 5th house in CCN's Santa's Village while watching the Phillies win this afternoon.  I also started the 5th of my 6 Christmas ornaments this afternoon.

I just noticed I missed a snowflake in Santa's Stocking Shop.  I will have to remember to go back and stitch it when I start the next house.  It's just a little snowflake.

It actually is spring in my backyard now.
This is our daffodils, hyacinths and primrose under the
pink dogwood tree.  The dogwood should be blooming soon

I am so saddened by the bombing at the Boston Marathon yesterday.  What a cruel world we live in right now.  I pray for the victims and their families and I pray for the perpetrators of these crimes also.  May God watch over us all as we make our way through this tough time in our history.

I should be finished with page 19 of Bridge in Monet's Garden by the end of next week.  I just started the 5th house in CCN Santa's Village.  I haven't felt much like stitching in the afternoons the past couple of days.  I think the problem has been that I started taking my allergy pills the beginning of the week and they have made me really tired.  I am going to see if taking them before I go to bed makes me less drowsy during the day.

Another Christmas ornament stitched

I finished stitching another Christmas ornament yesterday.  That is 5 of the 8 I absolutely need to stitch completed.  Although I plan to stitch an extra of the Oh Christmas Tree ornaments so I have one to practice on before I finish the ones for my Grand Nieces and Nephew.  I have never made a Christmas tree shaped ornament before.
