1st 4 houses stitched

I got a notice the other day that house 5 is on its way.  I can't wait to see it.  Unfortunately I have to stitch on a Christmas ornament before I can start the 5th house in the village.  My goal is to have the 8 ornaments I need to stitch as Christmas gifts done by the end of August.  I have 4 finished so I should make my goal.

Spring in my backyard

Here are some pictures of my backyard this morning.  We are ready for spring!!!!

I decided not to go to work today.  The snow is not sticking to the roads right now but it is still coming down pretty hard.  I don't want to get to work and then be afraid to drive home.  It is safer just to stay home.  I think I will have a lazy day reading and stitching.  Some forecasts are saying we could get up to 8" and others are saying 2 to 4.

Avery's First Christmas Ornament

I finished stitching Avery's Christmas ornament the other day.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  I am going to send it to Vicki at SewFun to have it finished into an ornament.   I can't wait to get it back to see how she finishes it.  I was suprised at how reasonable the cost of her finishing an ornament is.

2 Wedding Samplers back from the Framer and 2 Ornaments Finished

I went to my LNS, Just Cross Stitch in Lederach, PA, this morning and picked up the wedding samplers for Kayla & Landon and Lisa & Mike this morning.  I have also finished 2 St. Patrick's Day ornaments for my tree.

I have finished row 2 on Page 19 of Bridge in Monet's Garden.  Started Mrs. Claus' Cookie Shop on CCN Santa's Village and am almost finished with Baby's First Christmas ornament for Avery.  I think maybe I have  been stitching to much but it is lots of fun.

I finished another PS Ornament for the Grand Nieces/Nephew for 2013.  Well I finished the stitching.  Only 3 more to go and then I will make them into ornaments.  Can't wait to see them all finished.

March 1st Stittching Updates

I have finished Page 18 of Bridge in Monet's Garden and the 3rd house in CCN's Santa's Village. 

I am so glad the download of these pictures worked.  I think our desktop computer died this morning as I can't get past the sign-in page and the hard drive or fan seem to be running.  I was planning on getting a new PC at the end of the year but I may be getting it sooner than I wanted.  Unfortunately that means I will have to get a new printer at the same time  as the one we have is really old and probably not compatible with the new Windows operating system.  Oh well such is life.
