A May Finish

Designer:  Primrose Cottage
Design:  4th of July Round (First Friday Freebie)
Fabric:  16CT Mystery from my small pieces
Floss:  DMC
1st Stitch:  04/11/2026 - Last Stitch:  05/09/2026
For:  Me
Notes:  I actually started this sometime in 2025 but only had a small start so when I picked it up in April I used that date as my start date.  I plan on making this a hoop finish and will post a picture when it is FFO'd.

May Maynia - My plans for May Maynia is to start a new project each Monday and work on that project for 5 (Monday - Friday) that week.  On May 4th I started Je T`Aime by December Stitchery on ETSY.  This will be a surprise for Bob when I finish it.   Monday May 11th my plan is to start Prairie Schooler 2026 Yearly Santa.  I havd 3 orther projects picked out but we will see if I change my mind.

It's a wrap

I finished Irises in Monet's Garden yesterday.  I washed it last night to get the grid lines out and this morning I ironed it.  It is ready to go to the framer.  Problem with that is I want to have it framed by L&M Framing in Cincinnati, OH and they go off grid for the summer.  So, it will have to wait until fall when they return to Cincinnati and open up their framing business again.  I want to have it framed in a gold frame similar to Bridge in Monet's Garden.

Designer:  Stitch Therapy from ETSY
Design:  Irises in Monet's Garden
Fabric:  18CT Easy Count AIDA
Floss:  DMC  1 thread over 1
1st Stitch:  04/29/2024 - Last Stitch:  05/01/2026
For:  Me
I started this originally on 04/20/2024 but I made a big mistake that I picked out and restarted it on 04729/2024.
It is so much prettier in real life than in this picture.

I just want to say here that I will never stitch another large full coverage piece again.

I am so happy that this is finally finished.

My plan for May is to start 5 new projects one each Monday.  I will work on the Monday start each afternoon, Monday through Friday for an hour or so.  I have 3 projects picked out to start so I have to come up with 2 more.  I have time.  Monday May 4th, I plan to start Prairie Schooler 2026 Yearly Santa.

Prairie Schooler - December
New start in April

Primrose Cottage - 4th of July Round
This was a 1st Friday Freebie which I started last year .  Picked it up a week or so ago and hope to have it finished by July 4th.  My only not to our 250th Birthday

Monet's Irises
See that little corner on the bottom right that is al I have left to stitch.
I should have a finish this afternoon
Then I have to wash her to get the grid lines out.  I am very scared about doing that.  Hopefully it will go well.  Wish me luck!

Monet's Irises
She had her 2nd Birthday on April 29th and she should be finished today
