The Little Stitcher - Arsenic and Old Lace

When I posted this to a Facebook group it was pointed out to me that the R in Arsenic did not have a 
tail.  It looks like a p.  I panicked.  How was I going to fix it.  So I mentioned it to Carolyn at Just Cross Stitch and she
gave me an idea.  So I pulled up the PDF of the chart and the r was charted to not have a tail.  So I am leaving it the way it was charted.  It may have been a mistake on the part of the designer but it is what it is and I doubt that I am talented enough to fix it properly.

I just ordered Autumn Sampler by The Prairie Schooler and fabric from 123Stitch.  Can't wait to get it as I am really tired of stitching smalls.

Right now I am stitching Lizzie Kate - Spring Smalls - Buzz.  This is stitched in all one color and I am tired of it after 2 days.  I should finish it by tomorrow I think.

I should do some sewing to finish Lizzie Kate Spring String but I don't feel like it.  I should also put my Easter decorations away but I don't feel like that either.

I finished this little one into a small pillow today using Vonna Pfieffer's, The Twisted Stitchers, tutorial.  This was my 20th stitched finish for the year.

I think this turned out so cute.

I showed the back because I finished it like Vonna does/

I slit a hole in the back fabric then stitched all around the design

and turned it through the slit in the back.  Then I stuffed it and closed 

the slit using my terrible slip stitch.  Then I cross stitched my initials

and the year and used double sided interfacing to attach the stitched initials

and date.

Started stitching Buzz from the Spring Smalls last night.  It is all in one color so it should be an easy stitch.  I am also going to stitch the other two designs in this chart.

I have two larger projects I want to start but I don't have either chart yet.  Actually I haven't decided on the one I just know it is going to be a With Thy Needle and Thread chart, I just haven't picked the one I want to do yet.  The other one I want to do is Prairie Schooler, Autumn Sampler.  I am waiting to see if Carolyn from Just Cross Stitch has this one in stock tomorrow.  If not I will order it from 123Stitch.

My heart is broken

Yesterday as I watched the coverage of the  Cathedral burning I cried.  One of he most beautiful places I have ever seen.  I hope it gets rebuilt but it will never be the same.  I am so glad I got to see it not only once but twice. The pictures above are from the side of the Cathedral.  What a horrible tragedy for the people of Paris, France and the world.

Two Prairie Scholler Santas came home yesterday

I sent 2 Prairie Schooler Santas to Vonna Pfieffer,  The Twisted Stitcher, in January to have her finish them into little pillows.  They came home yesterday.  They are absolutely beautiful.

I know the one with the snowman is the 2018 yearly Santa but I don't know what year the other one is.  I could look it up but I am to lazy.  Vonna is a master at finishing.

I have been busy stitching Christmas ornaments.  I am working on a Lizzie Kate Our First Christmas for Emily and Carlos and then I have one more I would like to stitch.  Hopefully by the end of April I will be finished stitching 2019 Christmas ornaments.  Then I am going to concentrate on doing Spring and  fall smalls.
