I finished house 10 on Thursday.  I can't wait to get this finished and sew the buttons on it.  I have decided that I am going to get this framed.

A crossstitch finish for my ornament tree

I finished this and it is now hanging on my ornament tree.  Just in time for Halloween

I know I made a mistake in stitching the pumpkin but I didn't feel like taking it out and pumpkins aren't suppose to be perfect.  So I took some artistic license and made it imperfect.  Hope Cathryn doesn't mind my changing her design a little.

Crocheting for Christmas

I have been crocheting the last couple of weeks and finished some Christmas gifts so I thought I would share some pictures.  I don't get in the crocheting mood often but for some reason I feel compelled to crochet right now. 

Dish Clothes I crocheted to add to my nieces
Christmas presents.  I made them all ecru and soft ecru
since I didn't know what colors their kitchens are.  One
for each niece.

Scarves - One is for my Great Niece Laura .
The other 2 are for friends, Linda and Mary.

 

Bridge In Monet's Garden progress

I finished page 23 of Bridge in Monet's Garden last night.  I was surprised to see it took me exactly 2 months to finish this page.  Normally it only takes me about 45 days.

I also finished another Christmas ornament this week  It is a Santa from the 2013 Just Cross Stitch ornament issue.  It is stitched on perforated paper and I am waiting for Bob to cut it out so I can finish it.  When it is finished I will post a picture.  I think he is soooooo cute.
