A 2020 stitch finally Fully Finished

 I stitched this piece in June of 2020 and then put it in my finished box because I didn't know how I wanted to finish it.  A couple of months ago I decided I was just going to finish it as a flat so it would stand up on a easel.  So I asked my husband to cut a piece of foam board I could mount it on.  He cut it the wrong size and then it took him several more months and some nagging by me to finally get it cut to the right size.  It only took me a few days after that to get it mounted and displayed.

COVID-19 Vaccines

 Bob and I registered to get our COVID-19 shots on January 14.  Yesterday we got e-mails that we can set-up our appointments.  Luckily we also got our new printer yesterday or we wouldn't have been able to set-up the appointment.  We will need to print -out the appointment form once we make the appointment on-line.  Hopefully Bob won't have any problems setting up the printer so we can make our appointments this afternoon.

Yesterday I finally got the crown on the tooth I lost the filling in and had a root canal on in January.  It feels so much better.

I finished 2 more of the Christmas ornaments for the Greats this past week,  In April I will stitch 2 or 3 more.  I only need 2 but I want to stitch an extra one.  I have an idea of how to finish them so I want an extra on to see if my idea works.  If I ruin it I won't care and if it works out I will have an ornament for us.  I am now back to stitching Heartstring Samplery "Baby It's Cold Outside". I quit waiting for GAST Pomegranate to become available so I decided to use Classic Colorworks Cherry Cobbler.  Cherry Cobbler is darker than Pomegranate but it seems to be working OK.  Another reason I need the printer.  I need to enlarge the next section of the chart so I can continue stitching.

It's Thursday.  I have spent the morning cleaning bathrooms and doing laundry.  This afternoon I will get back to stitching my 4th 2021 Christmas ornament for the greats.  I guess I should start figuring out how I would like to finish them.  I have no idea.  Even stitched in 18CT Aida they are a little large so I am uninspired but I have lots of time to think about it.  After I finish this one I am going to go back to Baby It's Cold Outside now that I have decided to switch GAST Pomegranate to Classic Colorworks Cherry Cobbler.

It's bee snowning since Sunday afternoon

It started snowing here Sunday afternoon and has been snowing on and off since then.  This morning it is just some light snow showers which will hopefully end sometime this afternoon.  Here are some pictures of our back and front yard as of this morning.  

 This is my Valentine display.  I have another little pillow but it isn't finished yet.  Hopefully this afternoon.
