Another little finish

123stitch is having a freebie SAL this year.  They started in December but I didn't participate in the December or January SAL.  I happened to really like the February freebie they choose so I stitched it and this morning I actually made it into an ornament.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day.  I hope your day is full of love and happiness.

Bob and I are planning a quiet night.  We have ordered dinner from our favorite caterers and I am leaving in a few minutes to pick it up.  Beef Wellingtons, mashed potatoes, honey gingered carrots, rolls or bread, chocolate mousse and linzer cookies.  Plus we ordered crab cakes so we can have 2 meals out of the sides. These meals are always wonderful with a lot of food.  It has become a yearly tradition for us.   I bought Bob a card and a box of Godiva Truffles.  Of course he shares them with me.

Bridge in Monet's Garden

Bridge in Monet's Garden is now half finished.  Yes I finished stitching half of page 18 so that makes the whole project half finished.  It is getting so big it is hard for me to take a picture but I will keep trying.  I started stitching this on 3/31/2011 so it has taken me 22 months to complete half of the project. 

I have also finished my 2nd Christmas ornament of 2013.

First Christmas Ornament finish of 2013

This is my 1st Christmas ornament finish of 2013.  I have not made it into an ornament yet as I need to stitch 6 (at least) and they will all be finished in the shape of Christmas trees so I will wait until I have them all stitched and then finish them all at once. These will be for my Grandnieces and Grandnephew for Christmas 2013.  It is much prettier in person than in this picture.
