More sleds

Bob finished another group of sleds last night.

Designer:  Lizzie Kate
Project:  Sled Dudes
I stitched the snowman twice as I
didn't like the third design of the group.
It was a polar bear.
Guess which one of these I am keeping.
Bob and I have spend the afternoon out on our back porch watching a wren family on our back porch.  The babies will soon be leaving the nest but until they do we are so enjoying watching and listening to them.

Mon or dad wren about to enter the next
with the next meal.

Some pretty flowers in our back yard

Last night we had Pete and Linda over for dinner.  Great friends, great time and great dinner.

Here are some pictures Linda took as she and Bob walked around our yard. They are beautiful pictures don't you think?

The pictures aren't that good as I chose the wrong background.  I love the Bent Creek Valentine and may have to stitch it for me.  The sleds will be Christmas presents for my great nieces/nephews or someone else.  I have stitched 15 of these sleds but these are the only ones attached to the sleds.  More sleds to  come in the near future.

Lizzie Kate -My First Christmas back from the finisher

I sent  My First Christmas to Faye Riggsbee - The Carolina Stitcher to have it finished into an ornament.  http://carolinastitcher.blogspot.com/

I got it hack earlier this week.  While it turned out bigger that I expected I think she did a wonderful job on the finishing.  I hope my great niece likes it when she receives it at Christmas time.

My current WIP

This is my latest WIP.  I have to say that I do miss stitching on Bridge in Monet's Garden.  It was part of my live for a little over 4 years and I think I am having withdrawal. lol

Designer: Lizzie Kate
Project:  6 Fat Men
Fabric:  Fabtastic Hand Dyed Fabrics - Dilly Dilly
16 Ct Aida
Floss:  what is called for in the charts
I am working on design 3 of 6.

I am also stitching Christmas ornaments.  I am working on the last of the Foxwood Crossing sleds.  I have completed 14 sleds so when I finish the stitching on the 15th one I will start attaching the designs to the sleds.  Can't wait to see these finished.
