I have been steadily working on Sherlock Holmes. Will take a progress picture tomorrow or Monday to show progress. I have also started the finishing on the snowflake Christmas ornaments. They are all cut out, stitched piece and backing fabric. I just need to get the sewing machine out and work on the prototype to see how what I have in my mind will actually work. Today I started stitching Sisters are a Forever Friend by Lizzie Kate. I am going to stitch one for Barb and one for Shirley. Maybe some day I will stitch one for me. I'm going to put each of our initials on them in our favorite color.
I finished the stitching on LK 6 Snow Belles and they are all packed up ready to go to L&M Framing. They framed my Cardinal Points and did an excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a cross stitch framed.
A few weeks ago I sent Prairie Schooler 1990 Yearly Santa to Faye Riggsbee to finish into a flat fold. Got it back on Thursday. I love how it turned out. I may have to get a few more of these finished into flat folds.
Yesterday I finished the stitching on a little butterfly that I will finish into a pillow. Now I am going to go back to stitching on Thread Milk Designs Connecticut until it is finished. I continue to work on Sherlock Holmes. I finished pages 7 & 8 and am now stitching on page 2. I have 2, 3, and 4 to stitch. Page 4 is probably under 50 crosses. Next week I plan to start FFOing the Christmas ornaments and the butterfly I mentioned earlier.
I've been pulling stuff from my finished pile to FFO. This one caught my eye so I fully finished it. I pulled the upper right and lower left corners to tight, so it is a little misshapen, but it is for me so I can live with it. I stitched this in 2021 so it has been waiting to be fully finished for a long time. I have one more in the to be FFO's box that I can finish and the rest will need to be framed.
