This is hot off the hoop. I finished the stitching a few minutes ago. Loved stitching this design.

Prairie Schooler - 2023 Santa - my current 25/7 project
I have 2 other projects going at this time. One is Erin Elizabeth Designs - All Things Spring from the 2024 Spring Just Cross Stitch and the other is Prairie Schooler March. I love stitching on both of these projects. I have also started Milk Thread Designs California. Haven't done much to California but I will get back to it soon.
There are so many mistakes on this project from start to finish. Many counting mistakes, and then when I mounted it I got it crooked on the board.

I made so many mistakes on this project from the very beginning. I''s was started in the wrong place it is to far over to the right which put TEA in the wrong position so when I stitched TIME I had to rechart it a bit. Because of IT's and TEA being in the wrong place I could only fit the teacup in not the steam coming out of it and it is stitched to close to the S in IT's. Then when I mounted it on the board, I didn't get it straight or centered. But I like it enough to display it. |

Design: Strawberry Fields
Notes: I had this framed at Michaels. I am not happy about how close they framed it to the stitching. I will live with this but next time I will made sure they add some space between the frame and the stitched piece.
I sent this Heart In Hand Big Hearted Tiny Town to The Vintage Stitcher to be finished into a drum. I received the finished piece back yesterday. I have never had a drum finish before, and I like it. Too bad Valentine's Day is long over so it will be packed away until next February. For a few days I am going to let it sit on the mantel and look pretty.
